About this item
The Geekworm X1300 HDMI to CSI-2 Shield is a specialized module designed exclusively for the Raspberry Pi 5, enabling high-definition video input through HDMI. Utilizing the Toshiba TC358743XBG bridge chip, this compact device facilitates the connection of HDMI sources to the Raspberry Pi's CSI-2 interface, supporting video formats up to 1080P at 60 fps. The shield employs MIPI CSI-2 technology with four data lanes, each capable of speeds up to 1 Gbps, ensuring fast and reliable data transfer. It also supports HDMI audio input via I2S, though capturing HDMI audio requires additional wiring or the X1300-A2 accessory board. The design prevents HDMI backpowering to the Raspberry Pi's CSI interface, safeguarding the system. Measuring 30 x 37.5 mm, the ultra-compact shield is easily mountable on the Raspberry Pi 5, allowing for customization of your setup. The package includes the X1300 module, two 22-pin MIPI FFC cables, and a screw pack for secure installation. Please note that the X1300 is compatible only with the Raspberry Pi 5 and Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO board; it is not suitable for Raspberry Pi 4 or 3 models. This module is ideal for projects requiring HDMI input capabilities, such as digital signage, video capture systems, or multimedia applicationsSpecifications
