This top-mounted PCIe Peripheral Interface (PIP) board connects directly to the Raspberry Pi 5's PCIe x1 interface, allowing for fast data transfers and ultra-fast booting. It supports M.2 NVMe SSDs in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280, providing flexibility for various storage needs. The minimalist design ensures easy installation and compatibility with other HATs and the official Pi 5 active cooler. An FFC ribbon cable, only 30mm in length, connects the M901 to the Raspberry Pi, and the board is powered directly through this cable, supporting up to 5W of continuous power. For high-capacity SSDs that may require more power, the M901 includes an integrated XH2.54 5V power connector. Dual LED indicators provide status updates: the "PCE" LED lights up when the SSD is recognized, and the "ACT" LED blinks during M.2 disk activity. This board is ideal for users looking to enhance their Raspberry Pi 5 with fast and reliable storage solutions.
