The Arduino Due is the first official Arduino board to feature a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller, specifically the Atmel SAM3X8E CPU. This powerful processor runs at an impressive 84 MHz clock speed, offering significantly higher performance compared to traditional 8-bit Arduino boards. The Due is designed for complex projects requiring enhanced processing power, such as advanced robotics, audio processing, and real-time data acquisition.The board provides 54 digital input/output pins, including 12 PWM outputs, and 12 analog inputs, enabling extensive connectivity options for sensors, actuators, and other peripherals.
