The Arducam 5 MP OV5647 1080p NoIR Camera Module is a versatile, infrared-sensitive imaging solution tailored for Raspberry Pi systems. Built around the OmniVision OV5647 sensor, it delivers sharp 5 megapixel still images at 2592 × 1944 resolution and supports video modes including 1080p at 30fps, 720p at 60fps, and 480p at 90fps, enabling smooth high-definition recording and streaming. What sets it apart is the NoIR design, which omits the standard infrared-cut filter—making it sensitive to IR light. This makes the module especially suited for night vision, low-light surveillance, wildlife monitoring, robotics, and scientific imaging when teamed with external IR illuminators. Compact and lightweight, the module measures around 25 × 24 mm, matching the form factor of standard Raspberry Pi camera modules. It uses the standard 15-pin MIPI CSI-2 interface for seamless integration with all Raspberry Pi models.
