The SparkFun VEML6030 Ambient Light Sensor Board (SEN-15436) is a high-accuracy I²C-enabled sensor designed to measure ambient light levels in lux. Utilizing the VEML6030 sensor, it offers a 16-bit resolution with a wide dynamic range from 0 to 120,000 lux, closely mimicking the human eye's response to light. The board features dual Qwiic connectors for easy integration into the SparkFun Qwiic ecosystem, allowing for solderless connections. Additional features include configurable interrupt thresholds, low standby current consumption (typically 0.5µA), and removable pull-up resistors and power LED.
