The Adafruit LPS33HW Water Resistant Pressure Sensor is a robust environmental sensor designed for applications requiring accurate pressure and temperature measurements in damp or harsh conditions. It features a ceramic sensing element encased in a waterproof gel, offering protection against water mixed with chlorine, bromine, commercial detergents, fuels, solvents, and chemicals. The sensor provides 24-bit pressure data and 16-bit temperature data, delivering pressure readings with ±0.1% hPa accuracy. Its pressure range spans from 260 to 1260 hPa, and it can withstand pressures up to 20 times its measurement range. The sensor supports I²C communication and is compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic levels. Additionally, it includes a metal port with a lip for installing an O-ring, facilitating waterproof sealing when used with appropriate enclosures.
