The Adafruit SGP40 VOC Air Quality Sensor Breakout is a compact and efficient sensor designed for indoor air quality monitoring. Utilizing a metal-oxide (MOX) sensor, it detects a wide range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hydrogen (H₂), providing a comprehensive air quality index ranging from 0 to 500. The sensor communicates via I²C at a fixed address of 0x59, operating within a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. Its STEMMA QT/Qwiic connector ensures easy integration with various development boards.
