About this item

The LuckFox Nova Micro Development Board is an embedded Linux platform built around the Rockchip RK3308B SoC, featuring a 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU clocked at up to 1.3 GHz. It integrates a high-performance audio codec and voice activity detection (VAD) module, making it ideal for smart audio applications like voice capture, wake-word detection, and audio preprocessing. The board comes with 512 MB DDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard eMMC storage, expandable via a micro-SD slot supporting SDIO 3.0—offering flexibility for data-heavy applications. It includes two 26-pin GPIO headers (UART, SPI, I²C, etc.), a USB Type-C port (for power and programming), a USB-A port, Ethernet RJ45 (100 Mbps) with optional PoE support, onboard microphone and speaker connectors, audio interfaces, status LED, boot/reset buttons, and antenna header for wireless versions. Optional variants support Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2/BLE, while PoE modules allow combined data and power over Ethernet. A 2-lane MIPI-CSI camera connector enables camera-based development, though driver support may require effort. Compact at approximately 50 × 50 mm and weighing about 24 g, the Nova runs Linux-based firmware. It targets voice-enabled IoT, edge audio processing, lightweight multimedia, and embedded applications. While documentation is growing, some users report that integrating non-native components like alternate cameras can demand custom driver work.
