About this item

The Intel AAEON UP Squared Board (UP²) is a compact, high-performance single-board computer powered by Intel’s Apollo Lake processors, including the Celeron N3350, Pentium N4200, or Atom x7-E3950. It delivers a balance of energy efficiency and capable computing, ideal for industrial and maker applications. Equipped with up to 8GB LPDDR4 memory and 128GB eMMC storage, the board offers solid onboard performance. It supports expansion via full-sized mPCIe (with auto-switch to mSATA), SATA III, M.2 2230 E-Key (PCIe x1 + USB 2.0), and a 60-pin EXHAT connector—plus a 40-pin general-purpose GPIO header for flexible I/O integration. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel Gen 9 HD, providing 4K video decode and encode support for formats like HEVC, H.264, and VP8. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB-OTG Micro-B, and two USB 2.0 headers enable wide interfacing options. Display outputs include HDMI 1.4b (4K @30 Hz) and DP 1.2 (4K @60 Hz). Measuring approximately 85.6mm x 90mm and powered by a 5V DC input (4–6 A), typical consumption is around 15W. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 60°C. Supported operating systems include Windows 10, Ubuntu, Yocto, Android, and Ubilinux, with strong community and development support.
