The DFRobot Fermion BMM150 Triple Axis Magnetometer Sensor is a compact, high-precision magnetic field sensor designed to measure the Earth’s magnetic field in three axes (X, Y, Z). Based on the Bosch BMM150 chip, this breakout board offers excellent sensitivity and ultra-low power consumption, making it ideal for electronic compasses, navigation systems, motion tracking, and portable devices. The BMM150 utilizes Bosch’s proprietary FlipCore technology, ensuring highly accurate detection of magnetic field changes with low noise and drift. With its digital I2C and SPI interfaces, the sensor can be easily integrated into a wide range of microcontrollers including Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. The sensor can detect magnetic field strengths as low as 0.3 μT and supports data output rates from 2 Hz up to 30 Hz, enabling smooth orientation tracking and heading detection.
