The Arducam Noir Camera is a versatile 5MP monochrome camera module designed for Raspberry Pi users who require high-quality black and white imaging with excellent sensitivity, especially in low-light and infrared applications. Featuring the OV5647 sensor, this camera captures detailed 5-megapixel still images and supports 1080p video at 30 frames per second. Unlike standard color cameras, the Noir model omits the infrared (IR) filter, allowing it to capture a wider spectrum of light, including near-infrared.
