The ADS1115 16-Bit ADC 4-Channel Programmable Gain Amplifier is a high-precision analog-to-digital converter module designed for microcontroller-based projects requiring accurate analog signal measurements. It features a 16-bit resolution and supports up to 860 samples per second (SPS), ensuring detailed data acquisition. The module operates over a wide voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V, making it compatible with various microcontrollers and single-board computers. It offers four single-ended or two differential input channels, providing flexibility in signal measurement configurations. The integrated Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) allows for adjustable gain from ±0.256V to ±6.144V, enabling precise amplification of weak signals. Communication with the module is facilitated through the I2C interface, supporting multiple devices on the same bus with selectable addresses. The ADS1115 is equipped with an internal low-drift voltage reference and oscillator, ensuring stable and reliable operation. Its low current consumption of 150µA during continuous conversion mode makes it suitable for battery-powered applications.
