Utilizing the Semtech SX1276/SX1278 chip, it supports multiple frequency bands—433 MHz, 868 MHz, and 915 MHz—making it versatile for various regional requirements. The shield employs LoRa modulation technology, enabling ultra-long-range spread spectrum communication with high interference immunity and low power consumption. This makes it ideal for applications such as smart cities, agriculture monitoring, and remote sensor networks. Key features include compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V Arduino boards, an external antenna connection via an I-Pex connector, and a low-power design that ensures efficient operation over extended periods. The shield also boasts excellent blocking immunity, a built-in bit synchronizer for clock recovery, and preamble detection for reliable data transmission. Its receiver sensitivity extends down to -148 dBm, allowing for communication over long distances even in challenging environments. With a packet engine capable of handling up to 256 bytes with CRC, the LoRa Shield for Arduino V95 is a robust solution for long-range, low-power wireless communication needs.
