The Arduino Portenta Vision Shield – LoRa® is an add-on board for the Portenta H7, enabling low-power embedded machine vision and audio processing with long-range LoRa® wireless connectivity (868/915 MHz). It features the Himax HM-01B0 ultra-low-power camera module with 324×324 pixel resolution using high-sensitivity 3.6μ BrightSense™ pixel technology, ideal for always-on vision applications and image recognition with OpenMV. There are two digital MEMS microphones (MP34DT05 or MP34DT06J) for directional sound detection and audio event triggers. The shield includes a microSD card slot for local data storage and a JTAG connector for debugging. It is ideal for industrial IoT, remote monitoring, machine learning, and asset tracking where WiFi is not feasible, ensuring robust, long-range, low-bandwidth communication
