The SparkFun SAM-M10Q GPS Breakout features the advanced u-blox SAM-M10Q chip-antenna module, delivering improved accuracy and up to 50% lower power consumption than its predecessor, the M8Q. Capable of tracking up to four GNSS constellations simultaneously—GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS—it offers enhanced time-to-fix and positioning even under limited sky visibility. The module supports L1 band signals, provides 1.5m horizontal accuracy, and achieves a hot start in just one second. With an update rate of up to 18Hz, Qwiic integration, and a 3V rechargeable backup battery, this compact board is ideal for precision tracking in embedded and portable applications.
