The SparkFun Load Cell Amplifier (SEN-13879) is a compact breakout board featuring the HX711 IC, designed to interface load cells with microcontrollers for precise weight measurement applications. Operating within a voltage range of 2.7V to 5V and consuming less than 1.5mA, it offers selectable output data rates of 10 or 80 samples per second, with built-in rejection of 50/60Hz noise. The board utilizes a two-wire interface (Clock and Data) for communication, making it compatible with various microcontrollers. It's ideal for projects such as digital scales, process control systems, and presence detection devices.
