The MPL115A2 is a compact I²C barometric pressure and temperature sensor ideal for low-power applications. It operates within a voltage range of 2.375V to 5.5V and communicates via I²C at up to 400 kHz, using a 7-bit address of 0x60. The sensor measures absolute pressure from 50 kPa to 115 kPa (approximately 500 m to 10,000 m altitude) with an accuracy of ±1 kPa and a temperature range from −40°C to +105°C. Factory-calibrated with internal ROM coefficients, it provides digitized outputs for both pressure and temperature. The integrated ADC and low power consumption (5 µA active, 1 µA shutdown) make it suitable for portable devices, weather stations, and altimeters. Its small 5 × 3 × 1.2 mm LGA package is RoHS-compliant and surface-mountable.
