The Adafruit/Evelta SCD‑40 CO₂, Temperature & Humidity Sensor Breakout is a precision environmental monitoring module—photoacoustic NDIR-based—for accurate indoor air quality measurement within a compact footprint. It senses CO₂ levels from 400–2000 ppm (± 50 ppm + 5 %) and includes built-in humidity and temperature sensing, offering ±0.2 °C and ±2 % RH accuracy per Adafruit; data is output via standard I²C. The board operates between 3.3 to 5.5 V, consumes ~17 mA in normal mode or ~0.5 mA in low‑power mode, and includes onboard regulator and level shifting. Ideal for HVAC, smart homes, and IoT devices, it comes fully calibrated and requires minimal setup.
