The SparkFun Pressure Sensor - BMP384 (Qwiic) is a compact and high-precision barometric pressure sensor developed by Bosch Sensortec. It offers high-resolution measurements up to 24 bits and operates over a wide pressure range of 300 hPa to 1250 hPa, with an extended temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. The sensor features a gel-filled cavity that provides extra resistance to liquids, making it suitable for monitoring pressure in humid or chemically exposed environments. It communicates via I²C with a default address of 0x77 and supports data rates up to 3.4 MHz. The board operates at a supply voltage range of 1.65V to 3.6V, with a peak current draw of 700 µA during measurements and approximately 2 µA in sleep mode. Its small form factor and Qwiic connector make it ideal for integration into compact and low-power applications. The sensor also includes an internal temperature sensor for combined environmental measurements.
