About this item
The ELECROW Crowtail Shield for Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040) is an expansion / breakout board that turns a Raspberry Pi Pico into a plug‑and‑play hub for Crowtail sensors and modules. Crowtail is Elecrow’s ecosystem of modular sensors/actuators with standard 4‑pin connectors; this shield allows you to connect many of them without messy wiring. The Pico plugs into the shield (pre‑soldered), and the shield provides multiple ports: analog, digital, I²C, UART, SPI, plus a BAT port and SWD debug interface. A switch lets you choose whether sensors get powered at 3.3V or 5V, adding flexibility for different module requirements. The board is stackable, which means you can layer it in projects without sacrificing access or neatness. Compatibility is good: it works with MicroPython and Arduino, enabling rapid development of prototype circuits or educational projects. The shield operates reliably over a wide temperature range, making it suitable for hobby, classroom, or even semi‑industrial usage. Its dimensions and weight are designed to balance functionality and compactness, so it integrates cleanly into enclosures. If you’re using multiple Crowtail modules, this shield simplifies integration, reduces errors, and helps organize wiring.Specifications
