Powered by the STM32G0B1 microcontroller, the EBB36 supports CAN bus communication, allowing real-time data transfer and control over a single twisted-pair wire. This drastically reduces the number of wires needed between the mainboard and the toolhead. The board provides connectors for hotend heater, thermistor, part cooling fan, hotend fan, BLTouch, and filament runout sensor—all from one location near the toolhead. Version 1.2 includes reliability improvements, better thermal management, and enhanced protection features over previous versions.
