The BIGTREETECH BTT Octopus Pro V1.0.1 (H723) is a high-performance 3D printer controller board designed for advanced users seeking maximum flexibility, reliability, and processing power. Powered by the STM32H723ZET6 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 processor, running at 550 MHz, it delivers ultra-fast computation, making it ideal for high-speed and complex 3D printing tasks, including multi-extruder setups and advanced motion control systems like Klipper. This board supports up to 8 stepper motor drivers, allowing for independent control of multiple axes, extruders, or toolheads. With support for both SPI and UART driver communication, it’s compatible with TMC2209, TMC5160, and other smart drivers. The Octopus Pro features rich connectivity, including multiple fan headers, thermistor inputs, and ports for BLTouch, filament runout sensors, and CAN bus expansion. It offers robust power handling with 24V input, multiple heater outputs, and external MOSFET control for high-current components. The board also supports a dedicated Raspberry Pi connection for seamless Klipper integration and real-time monitoring. With enhanced protection features, a clean layout, and firmware compatibility with Klipper, Marlin, and RepRapFirmware, the Octopus Pro is ideal for complex printer builds like CoreXY, Voron, and multi-material systems.
