About this item

The DFRobot Gravity: Offline Language Learning Voice Recognition Sensor is an advanced speech recognition module that enables voice-controlled interaction for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other microcontroller platforms—without requiring an internet connection. Designed for privacy and reliability, this sensor performs offline voice recognition using onboard processing, making it ideal for smart devices, home automation, robotics, and hands-free controls. The module supports up to 150 custom voice commands, allowing users to train it in multiple languages including English and Chinese. With support for both I2C and UART interfaces, it can be easily integrated into a wide range of hardware platforms. The recognition is fast and accurate, with a response time of less than 100 ms under ideal conditions. Equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker interface, the sensor can operate independently or be connected to external components for enhanced audio input/output. Its ability to work in noisy environments, coupled with low power consumption and flexible mounting options, makes it suitable for wearable tech, voice-controlled robots, and smart appliances. The Gravity interface ensures simple plug-and-play connectivity, making it user-friendly for both beginners and professionals looking to add intelligent voice control to their projects.
