The DFRobot Gravity: Analog TDS Sensor/Meter is a practical and reliable tool designed for measuring Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water, making it ideal for water quality testing in applications like aquaponics, hydroponics, environmental monitoring, and water filtration systems. TDS represents the concentration of dissolved substances in a liquid—such as salts, minerals, and organic compounds—and is a key indicator of water purity. This sensor outputs an analog voltage signal that varies with the TDS level, and it’s easily compatible with Arduino and other 5V/3.3V microcontroller platforms. It comes with a waterproof TDS probe, making it suitable for long-term immersion in water. The sensor's Gravity interface simplifies connection, allowing for plug-and-play prototyping. With a measurement range of 0–1000 ppm (mg/L), the sensor is calibrated for use in drinking water and low-concentration solutions. The module includes onboard signal conditioning and temperature compensation to improve measurement accuracy in real-world environments.
