The PIMORONI LiPo SHIM (formerly known as Zero LiPo) is a compact, ultra-slim power management board designed to make your Raspberry Pi mobile projects cleaner and more efficient. It provides a sleek way to power your Pi using a single-cell LiPo or Li-ion battery, perfect for handheld, wearable, or embedded systems where space and portability are key.With its super-skinny 0.8mm PCB, the LiPo SHIM fits neatly onto your Pi’s GPIO header without adding bulk, and it can be permanently soldered or temporarily pressed into place using a friction fit. The board includes a battery charger circuit, allowing you to safely recharge your LiPo battery via micro-USB without removing it. It also features power boost circuitry, converting the battery's 3.7V up to 5V to reliably power your Pi.LiPo SHIM is ideal for Raspberry Pi Zero, but it works with any 40-pin Pi model, making it an essential component for portable Raspberry Pi builds like custom game consoles, data loggers, or wearable devices. With minimal setup and solid performance, it’s the go-to choice for powering your Pi on the go.
