The SparkFun SEN-13676 Atmospheric Sensor Breakout features the Bosch BME280, an all-in-one environmental sensor capable of measuring temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure with high accuracy. This sensor is widely used in weather stations, indoor air quality monitoring, and IoT environmental sensing projects due to its compact size, low power consumption, and precise readings. The BME280 integrates three sensors into a single package: a capacitive humidity sensor, a piezo-resistive pressure sensor, and a temperature sensor. It provides digital output through I2C or SPI interfaces, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and others. The sensor delivers fast and stable measurements, enabling real-time environmental data collection. The breakout board is designed for easy integration, featuring a Qwiic connector for plug-and-play compatibility with SparkFun’s Qwiic ecosystem.
