The Arducam 5 MP OV5647 Pan‑Tilt Camera transforms your Raspberry Pi into a versatile, motion‑capable imaging system. At its core lies the reliable 5 MP OmniVision OV5647 sensor, offering clear still images at 2592 × 1944 pixels and smooth video options including 1080p (30 fps) and 720p (60 fps). The module operates with an integrated IR-cut filter, delivering accurate color rendering in daylight. What sets this camera apart is its built-in pan‑and‑tilt servo platform, allowing 180° horizontal panning and 145° vertical tilting—ideal for dynamic surveillance, robotics, wildlife monitoring, or interactive projects. The included servo controller board uses I²C and PWM signaling (via PCA9685) to provide precise movement control, and even integrates an ambient light sensor for automation based on lighting conditions. Compact and ready for integration, the kit includes the camera board, two digital servos, servo brackets, a PWM control board, and all necessary cables. It connects directly to the Raspberry Pi’s CSI camera port and requires only standard power and I²C lines for PT control.
