The PJRC Prop Shield with Motion Sensor is an all-in-one sensor and output expansion board designed specifically for use with Teensy 3.2 and Teensy-LC development boards. Tailored for motion-controlled, interactive, and wearable projects, the Prop Shield integrates multiple features in a compact form factor. It includes a 9-axis motion sensor (accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer), 16MB flash memory, a high-power 3.2W audio amplifier, and motion processing capabilities, making it ideal for robotics, gaming controllers, augmented reality, and artistic props. The motion sensor (NXP FXOS8700 + FXAS21002) enables accurate motion tracking and orientation detection, while the onboard 16MB flash allows logging or playback of sound and motion data. The audio amplifier can drive 8-ohm speakers directly, allowing sound output in response to motion or input triggers. The shield also features multiple pads for soldering IR LEDs and addressable RGB LEDs (such as WS2812/NeoPixels), adding visual feedback capabilities.
