The 28BYJ-48 Stepper Motor paired with a ULN2003 Stepper Motor Driver is a compact and budget-friendly solution for precise, small-scale motion control. The 5V DC motor uses a unipolar, five-wire configuration coupled with a 1/64 gearbox reduction, producing a fine step angle of approximately 5.625° per step (64 subdivisions) and enabling smooth rotational motion at about 15 RPM. It offers a self-positioning torque above 34.3 mN·m, friction torque between 600–1200 gf·cm, and pull-in torque of around 300 gf·cm. The included ULN2003 driver board integrates Darlington transistor arrays to amplify microcontroller signals and safely handle motor currents, complete with built-in flyback diodes and visual LED indicators for each phase. This plug-and-play pairing is widely favored in hobby robotics and prototyping, especially with Arduino, thanks to its ease of integration and stable performance. Ideal for applications such as robotic arms, camera rigs, and automation tasks, this module delivers reliable, finely controlled motion in a compact form factor. It comes with a 15-day warranty for manufacturing defects, reinforcing its suitability for learning and rapid development.
