The Geekworm Raspberry Pi 5 PoE Hat (model Pi5-POE-PD-A) is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) expansion board designed to provide both power and network connectivity to the Raspberry Pi 5 through a single Ethernet cable. This HAT supports the IEEE 802.3af/at network standards, making it compatible with PoE routers or switches that also support these standards. The design of the Pi5-POE-PD-A HAT does not occupy the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin GPIO header, preserving all GPIO ports for other uses.
