About this item

The Digilent MCC 134 is a high-precision thermocouple measurement DAQ HAT designed for the Raspberry Pi, enabling accurate temperature sensing in embedded and industrial applications. It features four isolated thermocouple inputs with 24-bit resolution, supporting thermocouple types J, K, R, S, T, N, E, and B. Each channel is individually configurable, allowing for flexible temperature measurement setups. The device includes cold junction compensation to ensure accurate readings and offers a minimum update interval of one second. Connectivity is facilitated through screw terminal connections, providing secure and reliable interfaces for thermocouple wiring. The MCC 134 is compatible with the Raspberry Pi's GPIO header, and up to eight HATs can be stacked on a single Raspberry Pi, expanding the number of measurement channels. It is supported by the MCC DAQ HAT Library, which offers C/C++ and Python APIs for easy integration into custom applications. This HAT is ideal for applications requiring precise temperature monitoring, such as environmental testing, industrial process control, and scientific research. Please note that the Raspberry Pi is not included with the MCC 134. The package includes the MCC 134 HAT, header connectors, standoffs, screws, nuts, jumpers, and a printed insert for getting started.
