The Digilent MCC USB‑1024LS is a compact, USB-powered digital I/O device offering 24 logic-level channels and a 32-bit event counter, making it suitable for a wide range of control, monitoring, and automation applications. Each channel can source or sink up to 2.5 mA at standard TTL logic levels, and the onboard counter supports counting digital pulses up to 1 MHz, ideal for event tracking and timing tasks. The 24 I/O lines are grouped into configurable ports—two banks of eight and two of four, or three banks of eight—allowing flexible input/output assignment. The device emulates the industry-standard 82C55 interface and operates entirely via USB power, requiring no external power supply. It connects using plug-and-play HID-class drivers, enabling quick integration with Windows and Linux systems. Software support includes DAQami for real-time data logging, signal monitoring, and control, along with drivers for programming in Visual C++, C#, .NET, LabVIEW, DASYLab, MATLAB, Linux, and Python. The USB‑1024LS is ideal for embedded system developers, industrial automation engineers, and educators seeking an easy-to-use digital I/O solution.
