About this item
The Digilent Arty S7 is a versatile FPGA development board designed around the Xilinx Spartan-7 FPGA, offering a balance between performance and cost-effectiveness. It features the Spartan-7 50T device, equipped with 8,150 logic slices, 2,700 Kbits of fast block RAM, 120 DSP slices, and five clock management tiles, each with a phase-locked loop (PLL). The board supports internal clock speeds exceeding 450 MHz and includes an on-chip analog-to-digital converter (XADC), enhancing its capability for high-speed and analog signal processing tasks. Memory resources comprise 256 MB of DDR3L with a 16-bit bus operating at 650 MHz and 16 MB of Quad-SPI Flash, providing ample storage for complex designs. For programming and communication, the Arty S7 offers USB-JTAG programming circuitry and a USB-UART bridge, facilitating seamless integration with development environments. The board is powered via USB or any 7V-15V external power source, ensuring flexibility in various setups. Designed with versatility in mind, the Arty S7 includes Arduino-compatible headers and multiple Pmod ports, allowing easy expansion and integration with a wide range of peripherals. This makes it an excellent choice for applications in embedded systems, signal processing, and educational projects.Specifications
