The VCNL4010 proximity and ambient light sensor evaluation board integrates a fully functional VCNL4010 chip, offering both proximity sensing and ambient light measurement in a compact form factor. It operates on input voltages from 3.3V to 5V and includes an onboard regulator. The sensor communicates over I²C with a fixed address of 0x13, providing 16-bit resolution data for both proximity (up to approximately 200 mm) and light intensity. This board is ideal for gesture recognition, automatic brightness control, and object detection. It is fully compatible with platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, making it excellent for rapid prototyping and integration.
