About this item

The SparkFun RFID Qwiic Reader (SEN‑15191) is a compact I²C-based breakout designed for use with 125 kHz RFID modules like the ID‑3LA, ID‑12LA, and ID‑20LA. It features an onboard ATtiny84A which timestamps up to 20 unique RFID tag reads, storing both the 6-byte tag UID and the scan time. A buzzer and LED provide visual/audible feedback, with a jumper to disable the buzzer if desired. The board communicates over I²C (default address 0x13, jumper-selectable), supports plug-and-play integration via the Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector, and also breaks out 0.1″ pins for breadboarding. Perfect for quick prototyping in access control, inventory, and identification systems
