The Adafruit STEMMA Reflective Photo Interrupt Sensor – TCRT1000 is a compact, plug‑and‑play optical sensor board ideal for robotics, automation, and object‑detection projects. It integrates a right‑angle TCRT1000 IR emitter and phototransistor on a 25.5×17.5 mm PCB. Powered by 3–5 V DC, it outputs a digital signal: high when no reflection is detected and drops low on reflection. A potentiometer adjusts IR emitter current (≈10–100 mA), tuning sensitivity. Visual LEDs indicate power (green) and detection (red), both of which can be disabled. The board connects via JST PH, requiring no soldering.
