elecrow crowtail- recorder 2.0
Brand: Elecrow
About this item
The Elecrow Crowtail – Recorder 2.0 is a self‑contained voice recording module built around the ISD1820P chip. Designed for simple voice capture and playback applications, it can record audio for 8 to 20 seconds, depending on component settings. Out of the box, the recorder uses a resistor (R3) value of 100 kΩ which gives 10 seconds of recording time at default sampling rate. You can change that resistor to adjust both recording duration and sampling frequency. This module includes non‑volatile storage, so recorded audio persists even when power is removed. The on‑board push‑button allows manual control of recording and playback, or you can hook it up to a microcontroller (e.g. Crowduino or other Arduino‑compatible board) via the Crowtail 4‑pin interface for programmatic control. Included with the module is a small 8 Ω / 1 W mini speaker so you can immediately use playback. It consumes low power, making it suitable for battery powered or low‑energy builds. The standard Crowtail cable makes it easy to integrate this module with other Crowtail hardware. With its compact dimensions (40.0 × 20.0 × 9.8 mm), the Recorder 2.0 module is useful in greeting cards, toys, alarms, interactive installations, or any project needing short voice message recording/playback.
