About this item
The ELECROW Crowtail TPL5111 Reset Enable Timer is a ultra‑low‑power timer breakout module designed to help you drastically reduce power consumption in battery‑powered or duty‑cycled electronics. It uses the TI TPL5111 nano‑timer chip, which consumes only about 35 nA in standby. The module acts as a gatekeeper: at periodic intervals it enables power (or toggles an enable pin) to your microcontroller or module, lets it run for some time, then waits for a “done” signal from the device; if the device signals it’s done before the timer expires, power can be turned off again until the next cycle. There are preset timing intervals ranging from 100 ms up to about 7200 seconds (i.e. 2 hours), selectable via onboard switches or external resistor/potentiometer. This module is especially useful for remote sensors, environmental monitoring, IoT devices, solar or battery‑powered gadgets where you only need activity infrequently. You can also force manual mode, allowing a pushbutton or external input to kick off the timing cycle. Its compact size, wide operating voltage, and minimalist design make it ideal for embedding in custom builds where you want long battery life without complicating firmware too much.Specifications
