The ELECROW Crowtail LoRa RA‑08H is a long‑range wireless communication module built for LPWAN (Low‑Power Wide Area Network) applications. It’s based on the ASR6601 chip, which integrates an RF transceiver, modem, and 32‑bit RISC MCU. The module supports multiple modulation schemes including LoRa, (G)FSK, BPSK, and (G)MSK, giving flexibility depending on trade‑offs between range, power, and data rate. Designed with ultra‑low power in mind, the module has deep sleep modes (sleep current as low as ~0.9 microamps) which makes it suitable for battery powered or remote sensor applications. It works reliably in harsh or outdoors settings — typical uses include smart agriculture (remote irrigation), environmental sensors, remote data loggers, asset tracking, building automation, supply chain monitoring, or any scenario requiring wireless signals over kilometers. The RA‑08H module is Crowtail‑compatible, meaning it has the standard 4‑pin connector for easy integration with Crowtail Base Shields, Arduino, or other microcontrollers. It accepts a wide supply voltage (3.3‑5V), making it easier to interface. The module includes onboard firmware allowing use via AT commands, and its parameters like spreading factor (SF), bandwidth, and transmit power can be tuned for specific needs.
