The BIGTREETECH TMC2130 V3.0 is a high-performance stepper motor driver designed to deliver silent operation, sensorless homing, and precision control for 3D printers and CNC machines. Built around the Trinamic TMC2130 chip, this driver supports both SPI communication and Step/Dir mode, making it compatible with a wide range of firmware such as Marlin and Klipper. Version 3.0 introduces key hardware improvements, including optimized thermal performance, more stable operation, and easier configuration through onboard jumpers. It allows real-time adjustments via SPI, removing the need for manual tuning using potentiometers. Its integrated features like StealthChop ensure ultra-quiet operation, while SpreadCycle provides smooth, high-speed motion. StallGuard2 enables sensorless homing and real-time stall detection, reducing hardware complexity by eliminating mechanical endstops. The TMC2130 V3.0 can deliver up to 2.5A peak current, supports up to 256 microsteps, and runs on a wide voltage range of 4.75V to 46V, making it suitable for a variety of NEMA stepper motors.
