The PINE64 Ox64 is a tiny, energy-efficient single-board computer designed to bring the power of RISC-V architecture to IoT, embedded systems, and edge computing enthusiasts. Built around the Bouffalo Lab BL808 SoC, it integrates a 64-bit RISC-V application processor, a 32-bit RISC-V real-time core, and a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU), making it capable of handling AI workloads alongside standard processing tasks. This variant comes with 128MB of XSPI flash memory, significantly expanding the onboard storage capabilities compared to lower-capacity versions. The enhanced flash enables the device to support more complex firmware, larger operating systems, and additional application code, making it suitable for more advanced use cases. Despite its small size of 50mm x 22mm, the Ox64 packs multiple connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and Zigbee, providing excellent wireless versatility. It features USB OTG, GPIO pins compatible with Feather form factor, and supports microSD cards for additional storage. The Ox64 supports open-source real-time operating systems like Zephyr, NuttX, and minimal Linux distros, offering developers a flexible and open platform for experimentation, prototyping, and deployment in smart home, industrial IoT, and AI applications.
