About this item
The DFRobot Fermion BMP280 Digital Pressure Sensor is a compact and precise environmental sensor designed for measuring barometric pressure and temperature with high accuracy and low power consumption. Based on Bosch's BMP280 sensor chip, it is ideal for a wide range of applications such as altitude tracking, weather monitoring, indoor navigation, and IoT-based environmental sensing. This breakout board features both I2C and SPI interfaces, making it highly flexible and compatible with a variety of development platforms including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other microcontrollers. The sensor provides absolute barometric pressure measurement, which can also be used to calculate altitude with fine resolution. Thanks to its high linearity, temperature compensation, and digital output, the BMP280 offers reliable and consistent data in real time. It operates in a wide voltage range (3.3V–5V), allowing it to integrate easily into both 3.3V and 5V logic systems. Its small size and Gravity-compatible interface ensure quick prototyping and stable connections.
