The Elecrow LoRaWAN Gateway Module is a compact, single‑channel gateway designed to provide LoRaWAN connectivity for IoT devices in industrial, agricultural, or smart‑home settings. It is built around the ESP32‑WROOM‑32 dual‑core 32‑bit LX6 microprocessor, which handles gateway logic, networking (WiFi or Ethernet), and user interface tasks. It pairs with a RA‑01H LoRa RF transceiver module that supports frequencies from ~803 to 930 MHz, with variants specifically for 868 MHz or 915 MHz depending on regional needs. To allow local monitoring and easy debugging, it has a 1.8‑inch SPI TFT LCD screen (resolution 128×160, using ST7735S driver) that shows gateway status, IP, data transmission, etc. The module supports LoRaWAN protocol version 1.0.3 and works with The Things Network (TTN) and compatible sensor nodes. Connectivity includes a USB‑C port for power/programming, Ethernet RJ45 port, and WiFi (2.4 GHz) for network backhaul. Status LEDs (power and data), a reset button, and a boot mode button aid configuration. With a supplied antenna (LoRa + WiFi) and small acrylic shell, it's portable. Under unobstructed Line‑of‑Sight, its LoRa range can reach up to ~1.8 km; in obstructed/urban settings around 0.7‑1 km. Operating temperature spans roughly −10 °C to 65°C. It’s a useful entry‑level gateway or sensor hub where a full multi‑channel gateway is not required.
