The Arducam CSI to HDMI Cable Extension Module is a practical solution for extending the connection between a Raspberry Pi and its camera module over longer distances using a standard HDMI cable. Designed to work with Raspberry Pi Camera Modules V1, V2, V3, and the High Quality (HQ) camera, this kit includes two adapter boards (transmitter and receiver) and a 15-pin 60mm FPC cable to connect to the Pi's CSI camera interface. The module doesn’t transmit HDMI video signals—it uses the HDMI cable solely as a physical medium to extend the MIPI CSI-2 signals. This allows you to place your camera module up to 10 meters or more away from the Raspberry Pi, depending on the quality and length of the HDMI cable used. It’s ideal for security systems, time-lapse photography setups, outdoor monitoring, or any scenario where the camera needs to be positioned away from the main board. Plug-and-play in design, no driver installation or configuration is needed.
