The LilyPad 328 ATmega328P Main Board is a sewable microcontroller board based on the popular ATmega328P chip, the same used in the Arduino Uno. Operating at 16 MHz, it is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE, allowing users to upload and run Arduino sketches for wearable and e-textile applications. Its circular design with large sew tabs makes it ideal for stitching into fabric using conductive thread, forming the heart of any soft electronics project. This board features 14 digital I/O pins (6 of which can be used as PWM outputs) and 6 analog input pins, enabling integration with a wide range of sensors, actuators, and LEDs. It operates at 3.3V and can be powered via a coin cell battery or Li-Po battery using appropriate modules. Programming is done via an external USB-to-Serial adapter (not included), typically using an FTDI breakout board.
