The LC-01 51 USB-ASP AVR Programmer is a low-cost and efficient USB-based ISP (In-System Programming) programmer used for flashing and debugging AVR microcontrollers from Atmel (now Microchip). It is widely compatible with microcontrollers like ATmega328P, ATmega8, ATmega16, ATtiny85, and many more. This programmer is an essential tool for embedded system developers, electronics hobbyists, and students. The USB-ASP programmer uses the USB interface to connect with a PC and communicates with microcontrollers via the SPI protocol. It supports popular development environments like AVRDUDE, Khazama AVR Programmer, and is often used with Arduino IDE for burning bootloaders or uploading code to raw AVR chips. One of its main advantages is that it doesn't require a separate power supply, as it draws power from the USB port. The onboard jumper allows switching between 5V and 3.3V logic levels, making it suitable for various MCU voltage levels. A 10-pin ISP connector is included, and adapters to 6-pin headers are commonly available.
