About this item
The Digilent Cora Z7-07S Zynq-7000 Single-Core Arm/FPGA SoC Board is a compact, embeddable development platform that combines a 667 MHz single-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with a Xilinx 7-series FPGA, based on the Zynq-7000 SoC architecture. It provides 14,400 LUTs, 28,800 flip-flops, 66 DSP slices, and 225 KB of block RAM, supported by two clock management tiles. The board includes 512 MB of DDR3 memory with a 16-bit interface and supports high-speed data access, along with a microSD card slot for storage and boot functionality. For connectivity, it offers Gigabit Ethernet, a USB-UART bridge, USB-JTAG, and USB OTG support, enabling various communication and development workflows. Expansion capabilities include two Pmod connectors with 16 FPGA I/O pins and an Arduino/chipKIT shield header offering up to 49 digital I/O lines and several analog inputs to the built-in ADC. It features two push-buttons, two RGB LEDs, and mounting holes for secure integration in custom systems. The board is powered via USB or a 4.5–5.5 V external supply. Supported by Xilinx Vivado (including the free WebPACK edition), Vitis, and PetaLinux, the Cora Z7 is an excellent choice for embedded Linux development, hardware–software co-design, and cost-effective Zynq-based prototyping.Specifications
