The OE-775 Hall Effect Two Channel Magnetic Encoder is a precision feedback device designed to enhance the functionality of Orange planetary DC gear motors. This encoder is ideal for applications requiring accurate rotational speed and direction sensing, such as robotics, automation systems, and motion control projects. Operating within a voltage range of 4.5 to 24 V and drawing a maximum current of 10 mA, the encoder outputs square wave signals on two channels (A and B) that are approximately 90° out of phase. This quadrature output allows for precise detection of both the speed and direction of the motor shaft. By counting both the rising and falling edges of both channels, a resolution of 7 counts per revolution can be achieved, providing detailed feedback for motion control systems. The encoder is equipped with a Hall-effect sensor and comes with all necessary accessories for easy installation, including a plastic case, washer, magnet, connecting cable, and screws. It is designed to be mounted on motors with a shaft diameter of 10.5 mm, ensuring compatibility with a range of motor models. With its robust construction and reliable performance, the OE-775 encoder is an excellent choice for integrating precise rotational feedback into your motorized systems.
